Brusafe + is a safe for exchanging medical data using international standards. Today Belgian e-health only uses the KMEHR standard, but Brusafe + uses
XDS / CDA which precisely makes it possible to make the connection between the Belgian ecosystem and the international via a mapping.
Currently, Brusafe + can read and store the following CDA documents:
1. Referral summary
2. Journal note
3. CDA Image
4. Patient Summary
They are also accessible via the metahub (network linking the 4 hubs and the 3 regional safes, containing data from all hospitals and general practitioners):
